Built without regard to expense for the Gene Ponder collection in the USA but now located in the UK. This car is absolutly brand new condition with a scant 56 shakedown miles covered from new.
A stunning recreation with beautiful aluminium bodywork complemented by a fully rebuilt race-spec Jaguar engine for thrilling performance. And I do mean thrilling.
Hand-formed aluminum body in the style of the Frazer Nash Le Mans “Replica,” the rare factory model designed by BMW 328 creator Dr. Fritz Fiedler and built to honor the marque’s Le Mans-winning racecar.
Powered by a potent six-cylinder Jaguar XK140 engine, the engine and weighing just over 1,500 lbs., the original Frazer Nash Le Mans was impressively quick, securing third place overall at the 1949 24 Hours of Le Mans
Built on a Jaguar XK 140 chassis and powered by a Jaguar 3.4-liter, inline, six-cylinder engine with C-Type head and dual SU carburetors.
Four-speed manual transmission; side-exit outside exhaust; front disc and rear drum brakes.
Striking red over red color combination.
Cockpit features Moto-Lita wood-rim steering wheel and engine-turned dash.
The car sits on chrome wire wheels, including a spare.
Beautifully detailed and presented; a rare opportunity to own a highly executed recreation of a historically significant Frazer Nash
Please note that this is a seriously fast car with massive power & very little weight. To the rear is a useful luggage are under the flip up rear cowling.
