The Czinger 21C does not merely advance the hypercar genre but reimagines how such machines are conceived and constructed. Czinger Vehicles was founded in 2019 by father-and-son team Kevin and Lukas Czinger, leveraging advanced manufacturing technologies developed by sister company Divergent Technologies. In addition to supporting Czinger, Divergent Technologies manufactures components and structures for the aerospace industry as well as automotive brands including Bugatti, McLaren, Aston Martin, and more.

The 21C is the first vehicle to feature Czinger’s Bio-Logic engineered performance and design technology, with more than 20% of the vehicle manufactured using laser-metal printed components and structures optimized for strength, weight, and packaging efficiency. The result is a lightweight chassis with extraordinary rigidity and safety, formed from proprietary printed alloys for structures that resemble and are inspired by the efficiency of the natural world.

The 21C is powered by an equally remarkable hybrid drivetrain, centering on Czinger’s proprietary 2.88-liter twin-turbocharged V-8, a compact and ferociously intense engine that produces 750 horsepower on 91 octane pump fuel. With a redline of 11,000 rpm, it ranks among the most extreme internal-combustion engines ever installed in a road-going car. This is complemented by an 800-volt electrical architecture that contributes a further 500 horsepower through twin independent front-axle motors, bringing total system output to 1,250 horsepower. Energy is stored in two compact 4.4 kWh battery packs and continuously replenished by a crank-driven starter-generator unit, removing the need for external charging. Despite its uncompromising performance, the 21C is fully homologated for road use in all 50 US states.

Visually, the 21C reflects Czinger’s philosophy of function-led design in which every surface, intake, and structural element is shaped by performance requirements. Its signature tandem seating, inspired by fighter-jet cockpits, significantly reduces the surface area of the front windshield compared to a traditional cabin layout. In HDF configuration, this packaging enables a highly efficient aerodynamic profile capable of generating immense downforce, while in the low-drag VMax configuration it helps minimize aerodynamic drag for high-speed driving.

Yet, as with all truly great automobiles, the 21C’s significance extends well beyond its specifications, with its performance credentials already bordering on legend. It can sprint from 0-60 mph in a dizzying 1.9 seconds, cover the quarter mile in the mid-8 second range, and continue to a top speed of 253 mph in VMax configuration. In a feat the company aptly dubbed the “California Gold Rush,” the 21C HDF set five production-car lap records in five days at five of California’s most demanding circuits—Thunderhill, Sonoma Raceway, Laguna Seca, Willow Springs, and The Thermal Club—driving 1,000 miles on the road between each venue under its own power. Its return to Laguna Seca produced a remarkable 1:22.30 lap time, eclipsing even elite motorcycle benchmarks and reclaiming the outright production-car record.

Wearing more than $130,000 in factory options and finished in striking Artemis Yellow, this HDF example is among the very first Czinger 21Cs offered on the open market. Its specification is led by exposed carbon-fiber double GT stripes—themselves a $60,000 option—alongside exposed carbon side sills, premium two-piece wheels, contrast interior stitching, and custom color brake calipers. Inside, the cabin is awash in Alcantara with Artemis Yellow accents, while the instrument panel, seating arrangement, and yoke-style steering wheel evoke aviation more than conventional automotive design. Having seen very limited road use of just 523 miles at the time of cataloguing, it is offered with a copy of its factory window sticker.
