Presented in metallic black with a contrasting cognac interior, this custom Tiptronic-gearbox Turbo has been upgraded in several subtle areas. The bonnet is now offered with a Kevlar-wrap and lightweight Porsche bonnet-badge, alongside matching wing mirrors. The correct 996 Turbo Carrera Cup 3-style alloy wheels, now red, nicely complement other red-accented elements such as the front GT3 front ‘smile’ grill and front turbo vents. The rear now carries a wide GT-aerofoil spoiler with custom bracketry in place of the standard factory hydraulic fittings, although the original rear unit and parts are still available.
The interior is in good order all round and considerably better than the recorded mileage would imply. Also included is a JVC KW-NX7000 satnav stereo system connected to a Becker CDC-3 six CD-autochanger in the front boot and additional factory-fitted air conditioning. The Pirelli tyres have excellent tread all round offering security through the corners, and the Turbo is also fitted with xenon headlights, twin electric seats and a factory-optioned electric sunroof. The history file is extensive, and, alongside the owner’s pack, there is a full 12-months MoT test certificate, two keys and even a hand-written mileage logbook. These high-performance, Stuttgart-bred GTs have a known build quality, and famously keep to the road surface extremely well. Regularly used and well-kept, this example has been owned by its current keeper for over 12 years and represents a particularly reliable Porsche indeed. Consigned by Edward Bridger-Stille
