• Rare model
• Deceased estate
The Morris Minor was launched in 1948 at the Earls Court Motor Show in London. It was designed under the leadership of Alec Issigonis with more than 1.6 million examples produced over 23 years.
First registered in August 1956, this charming Morris Minor is offered for sale from a deceased estate, having been owned by our late client since January 1985. This represents a rare opportunity to acquire a much-loved example of one of Britain's most iconic classic cars. Finished in traditional black with a contrasting red interior, the car presents as an attractive and characterful example. It has been in dry storage for over 10 years and is now offered as a non-running project. We are unable to confirm when it was last driven, and prospective purchasers should expect that mechanical recommissioning will be required before it is returned to the road. The Morris Minor remains one of the UK's most popular classics, admired for its timeless styling, simple engineering and excellent parts availability. This long-term family-owned example offers an ideal basis for recommissioning, preservation or sympathetic restoration. Consigned by Dominic Lake
