Andrew Honour and Simon Buck have jointly owned this car since 2001. The model had a bad reputation for an unfortunate bimetallic reaction between the aluminium coachwork and steel frame that made it susceptible to corrosion. Curing this has cost a few thousand pounds, but is considered to be money well spent as these cars are very desirable, a great pleasure to drive and are appreciating in value. This particular car was chosen to parade before HM The Queen at Windsor Castle on the occasion of her Golden Jubilee in June 2002 to represent the model in a cavalcade of Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars through the years. The car has also toured extensively across Europe including an ascent of the famous Grossglockner high alpine mountain road in Austria.
Editor: the current owners had their fun with Chinese Eyes and now are looking for a new horizons. So don't be suprised to stumble over this red haired beauty at a broker's or auction one of these days. (for more photos click here)
