Any Studebaker looks good, but some are better-looking than others. Especially this 1957 Golden Hawk, that could very well be one of the most "original" Golden Hawks in existence. On New Year’s Eve 1956 one Robert Wright from Knoxville, Tennessee traded in his 1951 Studebaker Land Cruiser to purchase this Golden Hawk. He owned the car for twenty years and kept every document and receipts on the car from new. On June 15, 1989 he sold it to country music legend Conway Twitty, who restored the car and displayed it in his museum in Twitty City until 1991. Still with 57.869 miles on the clock this Golden Hawk will be auctioned off Saturday Oct. 22, 2011 at the Branson Convention Center in Branson, Montana.
