A marginal Monday Morning Mystery (update: 1949 Hillman Minx or...?)

Timo Laitinen - car historian- comes up with a brazil DKW photo with a mystery car on the side. The Brazilian built Belcar DKW-Vemag is an interesting car itself. When you click the main photo you'll see the brazilian streetscene showing how modern the DKW is. Surrounded by mostly american cars there is a brazilian built Beetle on the left. But Timo is more interested in the car on the far left of which we only see the left rear section. Any ideas?
