A Warwick that’s Peerless

Do we need to explain the pun in the title? No, don't think so. As one of only three road-going survivors this Warwick GT is a class of its own. And any car aficionado surely knows that the model was re-released when Peerless Cars Ltd. closed its doors. Fitted with Triumph TR3 running gear, de Dion back axle and a fiberglass body, the Warwick was and still is an attractive car. We can't think of a reason then why only forty of them were sold during 1960-1962. Anyway, this 1961 Warwick GT will be offered by Historics at their 9 March auction at Brooklands. Just like in its hey-day it should do well on the racetrack. Technically speaking you'll have little worries as Triumph spares are easy to find. And that fiberglass body... well no rust, and further just be careful.
