For regular visitors to our websites, it comes as no surprise that Mark Hyman and his team are able to present another collection of great cars for sale. This St. Louis based classic car dealer has been an active user of our websites for a long period and always offers the most wonderful cars.
Their latest consignments are from the Kleptz Collection. Like so many fellow enthusiasts, Frank Kleptz of Terre Haute, Indiana, was born to be a “car guy.” His father, Andy, had a passion for cars, particularly for Chrysler & MoPar products, which he passed to Frank at a young age. Working for many years as a maintenance machinist for Pfizer, Frank fostered his innate ability to make or repair just about anything mechanical, and his incredible skill, ingenuity, and creativity are present throughout this extraordinary collection.
Since 1962, Frank Kleptz has collected and restored more than 60 classic cars and has been an active participant in many tours and races. According to Frank "Cars weren't meant to just sit and be looked at. They were made to go!"
The Kleptz Collection consist of quite a wide variety of vehicles. It goes from a wonderful unrestored 1908 Mitchell, to a 1963 Chrysler Turbine car. And from a 1912 White speedster to a 1954 Kurtis roadster and a collection of interesting motorcycles, like the 1923 Scott Squirrel. The cars are mostly of American origin, but we also see a Jaguar XK140.
