Big isn’t always beautiful (Upd. not a Duett!)

We love to visit the big car shows, Techno Classica Essen, Retrómobile, Stuttgart, Bremen, you name ‘m. Yet their drawback is that you need at least two days to take it all in. So let’s not forget the smaller shows: one hall; some cars and several stands with spares. That’s it. And yet these shows are just as nice to visit. Take for instance the car show at the little village of Hoogstraten in Belgium that will be held for the 25th time on October 29-30. There is a very laid-back atmosphere as many people know each other well and when we visited last year we spotted some very nice cars. How about this rare 1952 Volvo P445 Duett that needed lots of work. Or, if you are not a restorer, have a look at this gorgeous Chevy Nomad that proves big can be beautiful. Yes we will certainly visit again this year.
