Stiff upperlip French camper

Vincent Gonthier sends these photo of his fabulous camper, a 'big-mac'or if you prefer 'whopper'sized Citroen HY bus with two floors, two sliding doors, one on each side. Two seats on the ground floor facing the road, 2 seats above on the second floor, facing the road as well. Inside as it was in 1957. An amazing french contraption, possibly inspired by a visit to London and its public tranport. Could we say this is a French camper with stiff upperlip?
