Close Encounter: 1955(?) Ferrari GP

We promised to share a few memories with images we made over the past 1o years. This one I shot at Silverstoen in 2005. I remember walking round a corner and getting 'eye to eye' with this 1955(?) Ferrari GP was a shock. It's the kind of car you know form books, from cinema, but not like a car parked on the street right before your eyes. To me it was like a close encounter of the third kind. The closest I recollect from childhood is the Schuco version of this car. I still keep my Schuco, but I used it, so the seat, the windshield and other bits and pieces are gone. Just like with all my cars. Including the real ones.
