Well, what can we say? It’s good to learn that new motor museums come up every now and then as the number of them closing their doors continues to grow. In the last couple of years we’ve seen quite a few. The next to stop is the Tupelo Automobile Museum, or so we understand.

Moulded Marvel

Jensen’s aren’t known as radical cars. They were not outrageously styled relative to rival GTs from Aston Martin and Bristol, and did not stand out mechanically, either. The four-litre, triple-carburetted Austin straight-six was more than capable of pulling the car to almost 120mph.

The Desert Giant at Retromobile is impressive!

One of the highlights of the Retromobile show in Paris next month will be a Berliet. Not just any Berliet. The name is the Desert Giant and that says it all. It is the T100 and it is huge! The truck is 5m high, 5m wide, 15m long and has a weight of 50 tons. It will take four days and three nights for the T100 to cover the 600 km between Lyon and Paris
