PostWarClassic of the week: 1954 Delahaye 235 Coach Chapron

This Delahaye 235 was delivered on May 11, 1954 to the director of the brand, Pierre Peigney. It was bodied by Chapron and was the last Delahaye to leave the Chapron's workshop! The history is known since then and in recent years the car has been extensively used.
 

HvB Special rediscovered by builder's son

The late Dutch racing enthusiast Han van der Blij has been building Specials since the early 1950s. He has built a series of two ultra low-slung gull-winged two-seater GTs in the mid- to late 1960s, one with BMW 1800 engine and the other with VW power at the back.
 

Readers SWB - from Brussels to Amelia island with love

We received a picture of one of our readers his Ferrari 250 SWB Berlinetta. Do we like it? Oh yes, we do. This car was originally sold through the famous Garage Francorchamps in Belgium and probably shown at the 1961 Brussels motor show.

A transparent Friday Lady

Well, actually it is not the lady but the car, which is transparent. It is, of course, a show but we must admit we’d never seen this one before. We’ve seen photographic evidence of other transparent four-wheelers, but never came across this Hillman.
