Bizarre Bristol find: hardly used, nearly forgotten, not for sale...

This old lady has been sitting here only about ten years, but has been off the road for more than 30 years. It´s a "one family" car that was bought in the Paris Motor Salon. The owner of the garage where the car is now found an original photo of this Salon under a seat of the Bristol. The original owner belongs to a family with a very well known surname in Spain because the grandfather of this family founded a bank in the first years of the XX century, A grandson of the founder bought this car in the Paris Motor Salon in the mid 50s, but he died three years after and then the car was stored in a garage. The Bristol was back on the road in the mid-70s (see the "modern" number plates and the rear blinkers), but only covered a few kilometers before to be stored again in the same garage. Around 10 years ago, the owner of the old garage of the photos saw this car in an old barn, which was under danger of collapse. He decided to "stole" the car, and without advising to the Urquijo family, he brought a crane and "saved" the car. Months after, the family visited the garage and saw their Bristol there, but they didn´t seem to be worried and left the car there, where it is today. The car isn´t for sale and is near new, with the alu-body and the BMW-based two litre engine in very good shape. This is one of the 265 made Bristol model 405 four door between 1955 and 1958 and with only 34.390 KM from new!!
