From gliding down the ski-slopes to sliding around Silverstone's corners is just a small step for Chemmy Alcott. The Olympic downhill skier and recent star in the UK TV-show Dancing on Ice has just gotten her racing licence holder and she's ready to get on the track. Her first race will be an all-celebrity race during the Silverstone Classic on July 20-22. Chemmy will then be competing against many personalities from showbiz, sport, TV and music all of them driving lightweight, competition prepared Morgans. But we doubt if you will recognize Chemmy, as on the day she plans to tuck her hair up in the helmet, so that none of the other competitors will know she's a girl. She said: "I don't want to be judged on that basis! When I take on the boys skiing, they just don't like it; so I want to see if the same applies here!" We don't think so, Chemmy, in racing you are judged on your skills, not on who or what you are.
