Getting cold feet already?

When we look outside the PostWarClassic headoffice it's still not much of a winter. On the contrary, temperatures are way above freezing point, we can almost hear the grass grow! So we thought this is exactly the moment to look back at real winter fun with this 1950s photo of Ice Racing. Seen here are mostly MG TD's and a single Jag, which tells us that back then it was mostly amateur racing. All you needed for a fun day out was a frozen lake, a full tank of gas and maybe a fiver entrance fee. Away you would go and kept going until you spinned and disappeared in a cloud of snow.
