You know by now that we do not care too much about automobiles that have belonged to famous personalities. Yet there is a market for those and sometimes these automobiles are sold for huge prices. Yet we think we now found one that is going to top them all. This little Citroën 2CV (or Uckly Duckling as we affectionately call them) was sold new to Bill Harrah, who added it to his famous Nevada collection. The 1965 2CV is certainly very original, having covered 116 miles only(!) and looking brand new, but does this justify an estimate between 30,000 and 40,000 euros (roughly between 40-50.000 dollars or 25-30.000 pounds)? We will find out when it will be auctioned by Artcurial on February 3rd during their sale at Rétromobile.
One question though: if the 2CV is as brand new as they say, which we certainly believe, then how come the paint chips on the id plate? Too much polishing?

Update by editor Rutger Booy: at the auction on February 3rd the 1965 Citroën 2CV AZAM, with just 116 miles on the clock, changed hands for a phenomenal €59,600 ( 49,500 pounds, 78,400 dollars !).
