Historic GP of Jerez (update: Hurrah! for non-stickered cars!)

The city of Jerez is famous for its wineyards and wineries with English origins but since 30 years the English have more than one reason to visit this southern spanish location: the circuit. It was built some 30 years ago and offered hospitality various F1 races in the 80s and 90s. Currently it is better known for the Motorcycle GPs that are celebrated every year. Historic car racing became better known around 10 years ago, when the Spanish Tour for classic cars (a permitted copy of the "Tour de France") decided to organize races in this circuit. Since several years it is in the early autumn (12th and 13th October)that every year a "Historic Festival" will take place with categories like the FIA Masters Historic Formula One, FIA Formula Junior ó FIA Masters Historic Sports Car. A good point of this circuit is its geographic location (Cadiz, south of Spain), which assures a temperature of around 25º...perhaps a relief after the wet races in Goodwood this year.
