Mass production for the juniors: Austin J40

In 1949 Austin set up a factory in Wales, purely to re-employ disabled coal-miners who couldn't work anymore because of lung disease. We found this YouTube film that shows the how and why. It starts with an explanation about the disease but after that there are some great shots of the factory where they produced the famous J40 Pedal car. But times have certainly changed, watch how the disabled miners are spray painting the J40 bodies!
