We’ve had some fun with these ‘guess the places’ last winter (here, here and here). And you were remarkably quick in deciphering those locations. Now, why not carry on during the summer? Over to the picture above then. We’re not totally sure but we think today’s Friday Lady and her exotic set of wheels could well be located at Pebble Beach at this very photograph. And doesn’t that fit in perfectly with this week’s festivities? Prove it if you can.
You may also wonder what the car is? Well, readers, it’s a bit of kit that was made close to the old golf course (so that does make it fit in, too) in Northern California. Base vehicle was, of course, the good old Beetle, but quite a few of these exotics ended up with Porsche or Corvair power. This is the Amante GT of 1969. Do we like it? Of course we do. Will it ever be seen at Peeble Beach again? We doubt it. But if we ever get the chance to vote for it, we will!
