By editor Rutger Booy: Sometimes it just needs a photograph to bring back an old, long forgotten memory. I must have been all of seven years old when every week someone came to our door to collect the dirty linen and return the clean laundry. The man drove a Vauxhall Victor, just like the one pictured here and he always let me come along when he was doing the rounds in our neighborhood. At that age I was already mad about cars so I had a great time just sitting in the car, waiting. That memory just popped into my mind when I saw the picture of this Vauxhall that's part of the Vauxhall Heritage Centre. They will have an open day on June tenth, see the press release.
