A Pakistan J40 is ready for Goodwood.

It was love at first sight when I discovered the rusted Austin J40 from a junk market in Karachi, Pakistan some 3 years back. The hood was missing the deckled partially vanished from rust and so on. However, I had made up my mind that one day I will restore it and gift it to my daughter. 

In October this year Jenna was with us in China participating in Classic Car Challenge China (4c) and only after the return from it is when I started the restoration on fast track. 

Jenna turned 6 on the 23rd of December and was super excited to learn that Santa will bring a personalized car for her this year. Handmade hood from some reference pictures, colour and interior of her choice topped with Pakistani truck art by one of the best in town "Sadiq Ustad" doesn't get more personalized than this, does it? All she needs now is a custom size prewarcar sticker, helmet, goggles and off she goes in the next Goodwood Revival Austin J 40 international race. Peddling just for fashion while the engine is powered by eight reindeers! 

editor: and as we understand from Shahzeb, it is planned that Jenna will compete in this year's J40 race at Goodwood Revival.
