Life’s Little Regrets

Looking back there are few things in this life we regret, very few. But one sprang to mind recently. Still quite young, we went looking at an MG YT that we had seen for sale. The YT is a four-seater tourer, sort of a grown-up MG T-type. It was a nice one, red with black fenders and cream leather upholstery. The owner wanted a realistic price for it, but just out of school and about to do our military service, there was no way we could afford the attractive YT. And over the years we have always regretted not being able to buy that one. So you can image that our heart did a little leap when we saw a 1949 MG YT that will be auctioned by Historics on November 24. It doesn't have colour scheme of my regret, but still... maybe it's about time to go and have a look!
