For unknown reasons we are slightly biased by French cars. At first we thought to be looking at a fifties Simca Arian which of course is way beside the point. Yes we feel ashamed! A deep bow to all MkII Consul owners.
Anyway, when you are lucky enough to own a Ford Consul Mk II and have the time to wander off to roads like this you propbably also have a time warp machine. Well, this road in the Killarney lakes area is definitely a lovely road to drive, especially when it's still 1960 or close to that. But aside that it is probably no longer a gravel road, the surrounding today may still be beautiful and quiet. Mostly tracking tourists will visit here for walking. Looking for rest in an otherwise way too fast world. A bit like we do with our classic cars. No hurry or whatsoever.
Do you drive very specific to find some rest at the wheel of your beloved car? We are eager to hear, so let us know in a comment.
