Matchbox Sculptures

While on a cycling tour through the eastern part of Holland, we suddenly saw a small exposition of automotive statues. We recognized a Jaguar, a Beetle and a Mercedes 300SLR. They were made in 2008 by German sculptress Karin Humberg. She made these automobiles (called Matchbox I, II and III) from Norwegian Labrador, a rather distinctive sort of granite. A really fine job!
