Mercedes 170 pick up revisited in Buenos Aires

Zurdo from Florida came back to an earlier posting about the 170 pick-up: "Attached are 5 pictures of the Argentina Mercedes Benz pickup truck that was for sale about 10 years ago in Buenos Aires. I got the pictures from the seller back then. I asked the seller if this was a modified car converted to a pickup truck and he stated that it was original, not a conversion. I also checked with Mercedes Benz North America and they told me that a few of those pickup trucks had been manufactured to special order. This pickup truck was sold to someone in Bolivia or Chile, I can't remember where. They were asking around $25 thousand US Dollars."
