Now where did I put that fire extinguisher? Too late!

Just a few days ago photographer Karel Vermeer spotted this sad 'black over old english white' 1955(?) Austin Princess Vanden Plas. He doesn't know the story behind the fire, but says: "It didn't look good..." Well that's for sure and we can only hope there were no casualties. Having said that the thought came up that it may have been in use as marriage limo for the day. Not the way to cherish the most beautiful day of your life. 

We know it is often said, yet we also know it is often overlooked:

1. don't leave home without a fire extinguisher 
2. don't leave home without a very good fire extinguisher
3. don't leave home without a very good fire extinguisher that's fixed in place near the driver seat

Too often we have seen (also at our own car) that this vital tool comes in a box in the luggage compartment. This is a particularly bad idea as you can imagine. Now you may not be able to kill the fire completely, but at least you know that you did everything that was in your power to prevent worse...
