New season preparations: Repsol Classic Team

In the rally Championship in the 70s appeared a new team which was capable of win in almost all the more important races of the circuit. Was the “Escudería Repsol”, which used the best race cars of that time. Near 40 years after, appeared the Repsol Classic Team with the idea of recall and repeat these  triumphs. The actual Team has been racing during the recent years in the most important historic European races . For example,  in the past edition of the GP Montecarlo historic,  the Repsol Classic Team´s Osca MT4 driven by Carlos De Migel won the minus 2 litre category. Other cars of this team are (see photos below)  Porsche 911 S, Fiat 124 Spider Abarth,  Renault Alpine FASA A-110.  Until now, the most successful car has been the Ferrari 275 GTB, which has won many awards in the Monte Carlo Historic, with De Migel at the wheel. More car are being overhauled to “racing specifications”, like a DeTomaso Pantera Gr4 which will race in the next  season of the European Classic Endurance Racing.
