Quadrophenia Magnette

Sorry for the bad quality of these pictures, but when we heard that “The Who’ are re-releasing their classic 1973 album “Quadrophenia” we just had to dig out these very old photocopies that we made way back in the early seventies. These photos of the ‘bad guys’ demolishing a late 1950s MG Magnette ZB were on the original album. Why they did it we can’t remember, but it seems the poor Magnette is not included in the new release. Perhaps our present view of The Mods is a bit more romantic than it was forty years ago?
