Scared of the Scarecrow?

Whilst passing through Durrow in County Laois, Ireland, Derek Wilson was amazed to see that every house, garden, or pole had a scarecrow. There were hundreds of them. It was a festival and the atmosphere was fantastic. The seemingly abandoned car in the field looks to be a Humber Super Snipe dating from 1965, but you may correct us if we have it wrong.
