Ghia's gathering at Glenmoor.

How’s that for a present? Wouldn’t you like one? This one-of-a-kind Cadillac was custom-built by Ghia on a 1953 Cadillac chassis. It was a present from her then husband Aly Khan Wed (number three of five) to film star Rita Hayworth, although it is not sure that by the time the Cadillac was finished, their marriage was still on. Anyway, it’s a truly stunning creation, fit for a movie star. Although part of the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California, it will be on display between the other gorgeous automobiles in a special class of Ghia-designed automobiles at this year’s Glenmoor Gathering on September 16-18, 2011.
