When you travel the States, you expect to see muscle cars like the Corvette. They are built there, used there, raced there, worn out there, restored there. Some 1.6 million since the very first Vette rolled out of the St. Louis plant, June 30, 1953
A lot of European collectors buy there car and ship them from the US to their own country. Yet Mrs. Jetske Pos spotted this Vette travelling the other way. A Swiss chap shipped his Corvette from Switzerland to the USA for a roadtrip. Sort of a pelgrimage. Start at the original but now closed plant in St.Louis. Perhaps he was heading for the current premises & museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Whatever he intended he was spotted at the SnowLodge cabin in Yellowstone. And it may sound a bit of a long shot to wrap up your Vette for a holiday tour, but it must be a big joy. Driving your car in the country where it was made always gives the best driving experience.
