David Harrison sends this perfect period shot after we met at Paris Retromobile: "This is a photo I resurrected, cleaned up a bit (the original is crumpled and about 30mmx30mm!). It was taken while I was at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in I guess 1958. My co- owned Austin 7 (with a Ford Zephyr badge on the radiator!) was parked with its rear end level with the back of the Impala! That car I recall was owned by a Kuwaiti "prince?"- a fellow Officer Cadet. The A7 (1930/31)was in good condition, even the pneumatic seat cushions stayed inflated. It cost £25. Quite a lot on a weekly salary (before stoppages!) o£ 3. 10s (£3.50 in modern money)."
Editor: Thanks a lot David. Period shots plus personal memories is what we truly like.
