The M.V.M. Mystery

James Helms found the picture of this two-seater in an 1956 issue of The Motor. He thought it would make an interesting Tough to Crack Car Puzzle question, but when doing some research we found little or no information about it so we thought it too obscure for a quiz. What we do know is that it’s an M.V.M. (short for Manor View Motors) and that it was built by Lellie Le Tissier from Guernsey. The picture shows a prototype that had a fiberglass body and a 325 cc Anzani engine. Georgano states there were only three prototypes made and that the M.V.M. would have offered interesting competition to the new Berkeley. James Helms (and we) would like to know if these prototypes still exist. Can you tell us more about the M.V.M.?
