In these days, when nearly every sports car from the 60s or 50s is over-estimated, it is not very common to find an image as the one above. Probably you remember that more than one year ago we made a quiz about a Pegaso Z-102 in "under restoration". The pictures used in our quiz were taken more than 10 years ago, when the car was shown in an exposition during several months. Later, the car dissapeared from 'the radar' and many Pegaso afficionados were wondering about the whereabouts of this concrete unit... until these photos recently appeared. The car is still unrestored, but all its mechanics and the interior have been dismantled, and -as we have been told- some parts got lost. In photo 2 you can spot some dents and scratches in the front end of the car, caused undoubtly by all surrounding barrels and machines hiding the car, and the few items remaining in the interior, the gauges, aren´t in better condition... Before the "restoration" had started this was a very original and complete unit, as you can see in photo 6, when its Touring body still carried its original "french blue" colour. Hopefully the restoration will be commence again soon, but now the work will be significantly more difficult and expensive than years ago. So, think before you start tearing a car in pieces. As long as you're not very sure that you have time and the means to finish the job, better don't touch anything.
