How To Please a Lady

What is it that makes a lady smile? Well, we can think of several things, but when actress Barbara Stanwyck smiles this lovely smile, it can only mean one thing... she's having fun at the races! The picture is a still from a 1950's racing movie called 'To Please a Lady', in which Barbara played next to Clark Gable. The movie was partly filmed at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where last week the famous Indy 500 was held. While the Honda and Chevrolet engines did well this year, we do miss the distinctive sound of the Offenhauser engine. But if that's what pleased the lady?
