Another case of ‘not anything is what you think it is’ this week. This car oozes 1950s America from any corner and detail. The long front and rear, the brightwork, the duo tone paint, the rear spats, the white walls, the big chrome bumpers, the panoramic rear screen. Oh – it’s got a V8 engine driving the rear wheels, too. But remarkably, none of the mechanicals are US-sourced either and all of them originate from the builder who was (and is) based far from the US. So where does this car hail from? What's its name? And what was its intention? There is of course an unusual story attached to it. If you have no idea, we’re sure we will surprise you when we post the answer next week. But some of you will know. Feel free to drop us a line below in that case. Please do read the rules before doing so, by clicking on ‘Read More’ here. For now: enjoy the weekend!
