Touring with a Magnette

When last week we showed you the smashed-up Magnette, we thought we better also show you what a proper MG Magnette looks like. This one is a 1956 model ZA, which in the early sixties belonged to the father of MG historian Wiard Krook. The Magnette was a typical luxury saloon of that period, sporty looks, sporty feel, but also pleasant leather seats and lots of wood finishing. It’s engine was lively enough to pull a caravan, a small one anyway (this is an Eriba) and going on long camping trips.
