Unknown one-off(?) XK Jaguar car in South Africa

Can any of your readers identify this car? Absolutely no information on it is available except that it is in South Africa and might once have been an unfinished project from Rhodesia, using Jaguar running gear. It has disc brakes up front. The current owner has no idea what he has bought.
