You might think it's a broken rear spring that makes this Traction Avant suffer. Not true fortunately, this is one of the latest Tractions, equipped with the hydraulic system that later became standard on the DS. Just start it, and the pressure in the system will make it horizontal again. Only some 3000 of these hydraulic models were made in 1954-1955 and they are now highly sought after. This one we saw at Techno Classica in Essen where the German Citroën Club presented a stand to celebrate 60 years of hydraulic Citroëns. But of course there was more, lots more! A personal favorite was this 1949 Lanz-Bulldog that you'll had to see to believe. The picture doesn't do it justice, but it's absolutely huge! And of course we had a glimpse of the future with the latest range in eco-friendly, very go-green engines. We'll certainly be back next year.
