When lightning stikes..

One of the many motorcycles to be sold at Bonhams & Butterfields Quail Motorcycle Gathering is this 1968 BSA 650cc A65T Thunderbolt. This was a deceptive bike with its single carburetor and lower compression lacking the fussiness of its twin-carb brethren. Nonetheless, it had the same gear ratios, frame and brakes as the performance bikes and provided over 100mph. As such it is preferred for its dead reliable, yet still exciting performance. Bonhams auction will be held on May 8th in Carmel, California. See Lot No: 177
