Where were you in 62? (Upd. Diana Dors with 1955 Cadillac Series 62 convertible)

We don’t know if the year is really 1962, but we couldn’t resist showing you this nice period shot. There’s a whole crowd of onlookers surrounding the automobile, but we have a strong suspicion they are not looking at the car. Maybe the girl is a famous movie star? Maybe you were there? Maybe you recognize her? And do you have an idea as to what the make of the car is?
