Who doesn’t remember that hilarious 60s icon the Mini Moke? Based on the Austin Mini, it proved an instant hit when introduced in 1964. The Moke even played a star role in many tv-series like “The Prisoner” and in several Bond films. At the North American International Auto Show held last January 2010 in Detroit, Mini introduced their latest concept car, called “Beachcomber”. But we’ve read that when (or if) it goes on sale to the public, it will again be named “Mini Moke”. Seems like a very sound idea to us!
